The Social Media Club of NM meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6pm to share ideas and success stories about all things social media in New Mexico.
Each meeting will feature a guest speaker who is blazing trails in their industry using social media. Followed up with informal networking and idea sharing.

Our speaker for July:
Benson Hendrix is a Social Media Lackey/King of his World (although his official
title is “Public Relations Specialist”) for the University of New Mexico’s
Communication and Marketing Department. Hired to help the university move
forward with part of its new media program, he is one of the people behind the
camera and microphone for UNM Live - the university’s audio podcast and YouTube
site, and will soon be blogging on behalf of the university. Hendrix graduated
from UNM in 2006 with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising, with an
emphasis in New Media Communication.
